The GeoAdvances 2026 conference aims to foster international scientific collaboration and disseminate best practices in geospatial information technologies and their management, serving government entities, the private sector, academic and research institutions, and all specialists and beneficiaries in this vital field. The conference also represents a leading scientific platform that connects the latest international developments with the needs of local communities, thereby enhancing their utilisation of these advancements. The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Education, is hosting the eleventh edition of this series. Previous conferences were held as detailed below:
