Submission Guidelines
Extended Abstract (max 2 pages)
Submit an extended abstract in English using the Springer template.
Full Paper Guidelines
Full papers (minimum 6 pages)* will be considered for publication in Springer's Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (LNGC). Follow the Springer format with IMRAD structure.
* Not including the References section
Key Requirements
- IMRAD structure is required (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion)
- Minimum 20 academic references (50 for review papers)
- Maximum 8 tables and figures combined
- Papers must be presented in person; each author may present only one paper
- Code and datasets sharing via GitHub is encouraged
- Plagiarism check: similarity must be below 20%

Full Paper Requirements
- 1 Formatting: Papers must adhere to the Full Paper format outlined in the Springer.
- 2 Structure: All papers should follow the IMRAD (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion and Conclusion) format.
- 3 References: Each paper should include a minimum of 20 references from academic literature. If the paper is a review, it must contain at least 50 references.
- 4 Methodology: The Method section should clearly outline a solid research methodology in a step-by-step format.
- 5 Discussion & Conclusion: This section should be at least half a page long (excluding tables and figures) and must compare the results with findings from similar studies in the field.
- 6 Figures and Tables: The total number of tables and figures should not exceed 8. For example, you can include two tables and six figures, or four tables and four figures.
- 7 Plagiarism Check: All papers will undergo a plagiarism check. Only papers with similarity scores below 20% will be considered for inclusion in the Springer proceedings.
- 8 Length: Papers must be a minimum of 6 pages, not including the References section.
- 9 Code and Datasets: If relevant, authors are encouraged to share any program code or datasets openly via GitHub and to provide a permanent GitHub link in the paper.
- 10 Presentation: Papers must be presented in person by a registered author. Each author may present only one paper. Papers without registered authors or with multiple papers submitted by the same registered author will not be included in any publication.
- 11 Submission Deadline: The final paper must be submitted by the specified deadline.
- 12 Quality Standards: The organising committee reserves the right to exclude any paper from publication in the Springer proceedings if it does not meet the organisation's scientific quality standards, even if it meets all other criteria.

Please log in to EasyChair using the same ID and password you used to submit your abstract.

For each paper, click on the View icon (Magnifier) to view the details of your submission.

On the next page titled "GeoAdvances 2026 Submission XYZ," you will find a menu in the top-right corner with three update options.

Click on the "Update File" option from that menu.

On the following page, use the "Select File" button to upload your full paper.
Publications
Accepted papers will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (LNGC), an internationally recognized book series.
